The fabulous "My Party" political movement anounced today, that after a few weeks of reflection, since the party's inception, that they are now fully ready to move forward with great gusto to vigorusly explore the possibility of actually organizing.

Founding, Ranking, and sole My Party member "HeavyJ", who has recently sufferred a viscious bout of poison ivy, was quoted as saying: 

"Honey?" "Have you seen the Calamine lotion?"  He went on to say:

 "The party has never been more unified!  Forget the fact that I am the only member and "My Party" was only founded 2 weeks ago.  The committee is stoked and gnawing at the bits to get to work.  Even if it's just me!  We plan to work late into the night if necessary."

" The First order of buisness will be to compose an outline narrative of the core beliefs of "My Party".  This part will be somewhat quick because we intend to use a model that has worked well in the past.  I am speaking of course, of the "what Republicans say to get elected"  model!  We here, in My Party believe that it may be a Novel Departure to actually follow through with these stump pledges and govern as we promise.  I mean it couldn't be any worse than the Crap we have been served up by the GOP!" (SOMEHOW I ALWAYS END UP ON THE ASSEND OF THAT ELEPHANT!)

" We intend to use the new and exciting dynamic paradigm know as the internet to keep others abreast of our work.   We feel that  the creation of the internet may be the only thing of redeeming social value that Al Gore has ever produced so we intend to utilize it fully.   All thoughts and minutes of our meetings will be chronicalled on Townhall.com. by our Secretary/Historian.....HeavyJ.   This is the type of intellectual transparency that has forged such great works as "The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and "Pee Wee's Playhouse"

I quit!  The Republican Party that is! 

Just this week I got a letter from the GOP national committee.  Another empassioned plea for funds to continue the good fight.  It is time to standup to liberal tyranny.  Yada-Yada-Yada!   I don't sweat the liberals. I know where they stand!  It's the "conservative" Republicans that have worried me for some time....and I count myself conservative!

So... Anywho......  After basically being labeled as a hateful racist and coward, by  the President  I voted for twice, for my views opposing amnesty for  the criminals who pooh-pooh our soveriegnty,  I  took that  GOP Letter and  scribed "Return to Sender" on it and chunked it back in my mailbox.  After a brief reflection, I removed the communique from my box once more and flipped it over to the back, where I lovingly scribed "Bite Me!".  Back in the box now and flipped up the flag..... Gotta tell ya.  It felt damn good. 

To quote a recent politcal figure who has lost nearly all his relevance. "We need a new tone in Washington."  As I recall that went over like a lead balloon.

A new tone of conservatism is brewin at my house.  Boilin' over in fact!  And it has absolutely nothing to do with reaching over aisles and kowtowing to the left and thier rediculous notions, potions and inane idolotries.  But  my new tone has everything  to do with calling a spade, a spade.  


So...... Here I am without a party to suck money from me while insulting me.  And it dawned on me!  I'll start my own party!  I will call it...... "My Party". 

The "My Party" is a fledgling now.  At this point in time, since I am the only member, we are totally unified in our beliefs and stand vigilently on our platform. (which I will write down soon.......you gotta give me a break....I just started this after lunch!)  At this time however the "My Party" has no candidates which makes us totally un-electable.  (This could further effect our chances in "08")

Folks, if I am going to waste my vote on empty promises and pie in the sky rhetoric I might as well waste it on "My Party"
